🔸 In a game of Stella, players try to understand the way of thinking of the other players. Each round, a word is revealed and players secretly associate a number of Dixit cards with this word on their personal board.
🔹 The key in scoring the most points is trying to choose cards not everybody will choose, but cards that you think that at least one other player will pick. When only one other player has chosen the card, both players score the biggest points, but when multiple other players have chosen the card, they all score the smaller points. When no other player followed their thoughts, the round is over for this player and they can’t score any additional points.
🔸 At the end of the fourth round all players calculate their total score and whoever has the most points wins the game.

💭 Stella is a game situated in the Dixit universe, so the game is played with the well known Dixit cards. Beautiful illustrated cards in which everyone sees different things and makes different connections. This makes a game of Stella pure fun, because what you think you see on the cards can be interpreted by the others in a completely different way. It’s great to hear the other player’s way of thinking about their connections between the cards.
