Attack of the Intergalactic Gherkins

In a race to be the first player to reach the sun, players travel from planet to planet to collect the missing pieces of their spaceship. No easy task, because the Intergalactic Gherkins are on the lookout and they just love the taste of your metal ship parts!

2-6 players, ages 7+
Playing time: 15-45 minutes
Design & Artwork: Andrew Klinkenberg

Publisher: Teleporthole Games

This game is now live on Kickstarter:

At the start of their turn, players draw a card from the draw pile, having two possible outcomes: When you draw a normal card, you keep it in your hand to play when you wish. However, when you draw a Gherkins Attack, your turn immediately ends and you have to deal with the effect of the card, meaning you lose a ship part unless you discard two cards from your hand.
On your turn you’re able to play as many cards as you want, performing their actions like moving, collecting ship parts or one of the other various effects they provide.
Once you’ve moved to another planet and collected your ship parts card, your turn ends, keeping in mind there’s a hand limit of 4 cards you may keep.
The player who manages to collect their four ship parts and is the first to make his voyage to the sun, wins the game!

Attack of the Intergalactic Gherkins is a fast paced card game with a fair amount of take that and messing up your friends’ plans. The game describes itself as the best B-Movie that was (n)ever made… in a card game!; a subtitle that gives you a good impression of what it stands for: this game is lots of fun to play, the cards are filled with hilarious puns and the art looks beautiful!

The campaign of Attack of the Intergalactic Gherkins will give you the possibility to buy the small black box version, but also a Limited Edition White Box with unique art, KS exclusive cards and even the Stealthy Space Skills mini expansion that provides players asymmetric skills!
