Someone in your group saw a strange creature around the top of the tower and, curious as teenagers are, you and your friends go out to investigate. You climb the tower and find a vortex that spawns Wyrms, which attack your group. Guided by a voice calling for help, you find the entrance to Oniria and enter the Wonder Book. Will your group be able to restore peace to the ancient land of dragons?
Wonderbook is a cooperative storytelling game in which each player takes the role of a teenager, thirsty for adventure. The game consists of six chapters that lead your group through the story, discovering the Wonder Book step by step. From the back of the book, the story leads you to opening the book and discovering various pop-ups and hidden places, unlocking new features for the characters along the way. The choice your group makes when faced with dilemmas affects the path you take and the options you are given throughout the game.
Although there is an element of combat in the game, it is perfect for playing with children. The pop-ups and the constant change in gameplay that they bring is fun and varied and makes them want to explore every part of the story.
