Dice Throne: Season One ReRolled is a thrilling game where players take on the role of mighty heroes, all vying for the chance to challenge the king and seize the throne. 🏰 At the start of the game, players choose a character with a personal deck, customized dice, and a board with unique abilities. Each turn, players gain a combat point (CP) and a card from their deck, which they can use to upgrade their character powers or as action cards giving immediate bonuses or influencing the upcoming dice-rolling phase.

🎲 During the dice-rolling phase, the active player rolls their dice up to three times, keeping dice aside and rerolling the ones they want to. They then use the dice to activate a power on their board, giving their opponents damage or negative status effects or giving themselves positive status effects and healing points. The other players can defend themselves depending on the kind of damage that is coming their way.

πŸƒ After the dice-rolling phase, players can play more cards before discarding to the six-hand limit, gaining CP for each discarded card. The game continues this way until one player manages to reduce all of their opponent’s health points to zero, winning the game and earning the chance to challenge the king for the throne πŸ†

I had heard so much about Dice Throne that I couldn’t wait to finally try it out for myself. And let me tell you; it did not disappoint! The game comes with different characters, each with its own set of custom dice and personal deck of cards, making for a truly immersive and exciting experience.

🎭 What I love about the game is its high replayability. Each character has its strengths and abilities, which take some time to master, but once you do, it’s incredibly satisfying to fully utilize them in gameplay. And while the game can be challenging, it looks pretty well-balanced, so it never feels like one character has an unfair advantage over the others.

🎲 Another significant aspect of the game is how it mitigates the luck of dice rolls; there are sufficient ways to influence the outcome, which adds an extra layer of strategy to the game. And while Dice Throne offers various gameplay modes such as team play or free-for-all, our preferred mode is undoubtedly the one vs. one option.

🎨 The artwork in the game is simply stunning, and the production quality is top-notch, with each character having its own cool-looking custom dice and Gametrayz to store them separately, making setup a breeze. Overall, the gameplay is a lot of fun, although it might not be for everyone, particularly those who don’t like dice chucking.

In conclusion, Dice Throne: Season One ReRolled is a fantastic game that offers a thrilling and immersive experience. Exploring the different characters is a lot of fun and adds to the game’s replayability. If you’re a fan of strategic games and enjoy dice chucking, I would highly recommend giving it a try!
