Rush M.D. is a cooperative real-time game: at the start of each round, you’ll divide tasks and make plans with your fellow players for the upcoming action phase.
Each round, players have 4 minutes to admit patients to their hospital beds and bring them to the needed diagnostic rooms. After their examination you’ll know what treatment they need, and nurses can give them medication in the ward, or doctors can perform a surgery in an operating room.

Don’t forget to stock up on medication, blood and organs because when the pharmacy or blood bank runs out of supply, you won’t be able to cure your patients.
Instead of admitting patients to a bed you can cure the ambulant patients in the ER, they need less examinations or operations but you’ll also receive less reputation when curing them.

When the time is up, players evaluate their work by discharging cured patients but losing points for the patients who stay in the hospital and whose condition is getting worse.
After 4 rounds, players check if they reached the game goal to see if they finished the game successfully.

Rush M.D. comes with easy rules and unique components, the hospital theme is very well translated into the design, with different patients who need different sorts of treatments, and each of the 4 medical examinations play like mini dexterity-games, causing stress and some hilarious situations at the same time.

The gameplay is a lot of fun with the real-time aspect, especially because medication and organs need to be handled by tweezers when being transferred from storage to the patients, and remaining calm can be essential for a good game outcome.

The setup, especially the first time, can take a bit long for this type of game, but at the same time it’s very inviting to play a couple of games in a row. If you’re looking for a real-time game that’s fun and innovative to add to your collection, check out Rush M.D.!
