As you’ve probably already noticed, Board&Dice is one of our favorite publishers, and they’ve been keeping us on our toes with all their recent announcements! Along with the upcoming Teotihuacan Deluxe reprint campaign launching tomorrow and the new Trismegistus Second Edition (we got a sneak peek at Spiel last year and are excited to see how it has been refined), they surprised us with four expansions coming soon. Let’s take a closer look at each one.
Nucleum: Energy Research Institute
This expansion introduces eight new experiments and patron cards, each bringing unique abilities. It adds more variety and strategic options as you grow your energy empire. For fans of Nucleum, this expansion seems to offer fresh content while keeping the gameplay manageable and approachable.

Tiletum: Prospect for Silver
This announcement was a surprise. Tiletum is getting an expansion! Prospect for Silver introduces silver as a new resource, and players will send prospectors underground to mine for it. Silver can be used to unlock powerful technologies, bringing you new decisions to make. This expansion doesn’t seem to just extend the game, but rather shifts its flow in interesting ways.

Windmill Valley: Blooming Sails
Windmill Valley takes to the seas in Blooming Sails. Players gain a ship that can visit ports, trading tulip bulbs for various rewards. The calendar system has been updated as well, where your ship’s location determines the bonuses you gain. If you enjoy trying out new strategies, this expansion seems to bring plenty of possibilities to explore.

Minos: Dawn of Faith
Faith becomes the focal point in Minos: Dawn of Faith. Players can make offerings, commission sacred items, and gain new dice to enhance their strategies. The expansion seems to deepen the game’s thematic elements while introducing fresh gameplay options and new ways to approach the path to victory.

What do you think?
Are expansions something you look forward to, or do you prefer sticking with the base game? And which of these new expansions are you most curious about? Let me know in the comments!
